Why, why did I upgrade to a fresh magit? Its colors, compared to 1.4, are impossible to tolerate; the contrast is horrible, gray on gray, green on green, etc. I press tab in magit status buffer & cry of the ugliness.

If you think it's nothing & I 'should just customize colors', let me show you something:
