For some reason nothing is working out, nothing useful is being done. Never saw it coming!

'Нужно срочно открыть бесплатные туалеты на пляже Парка Победы. Люди справляют нужду в море, протестуя против того, что есть только платные туалеты по 15 р.'

I like this 'люди'. Btw, what is 'р.'?

'Отправил жалобу по теме Президенту РФ. Призываю и вас, друзья, не ограничиваться постами, а писать в компетентные органы.'

I don't get why they are writing complaints to a president of another country? And if they are so determined to drop everything & start writing to someone very important, why mail to a Russian president? Why not to a president of Brazil or to a South African one?  At least those 2 both have countries w/ amazing beaches.
