How I didn't become a rich guy.
The blockchain size now is > 36GB. I still remember the days when it was ~200MB. Once I had slightly more that 22 BTC in the wallet. It was nothing; back in the day you could get 1 or 2 BTC just for answering some unrelated tech questions in the corresponding forums.
Then, the desktop machine, where my wallet was, got a hardware upgrade; the hdd was reformatted (w/ all bitcons on it!) for a fresh OS installation. I was thinking 'maybe I should copy the wallet' but then my laziness kicked in & I didn't do that.
