That 2 vs. 3 spectacle was the main reason I've chosen Ruby back in the day.

It's probably easier now to do everything in 3, but 5 ya you would search for some non-trivial lib & 3/4 of them would work only for 2; you try to convert the lib to 3 w/ no real benefits in the end, pathetically wasting several hours for nothing.

So, after a couple of days, I've just said "fuck it, I'm not participating".

Besides that, any version of Python looks rather tasteless & dull compared to Ruby; ppl who code in it are often arrogant, lack any sense of humour & have no wit in general. (Sorry, couldn't resist, hehehe.)
