'... it [the island of Nevis] exists to provide people with anonymity. The laws were written for it by a group of American lawyers who wanted, essentially, to make it easier for people who were being sued or who were divorcing their wives to hide their assets. [...]

I had this extraordinary encounter with the regulator, the person who's essentially in charge of checking the integrity of the financial system there. And it was one of the most extraordinary interviews I've ever done in my life: she just laughed at me from beginning to end. I just didn't see the humour of it.'

Таке враження, що наші з дозволу сказати "органи" взагалі не чули про такі речі, як stolen assets recovery та non-conviction based assets forfeiture.
