This is how I imagine The Singularity will look like: rich live in the real world, poor fucks--in the carefully constructed virtual reality.
The question "How do the rich live longer?" is going to be substituted w/ "How do the rich live?", hehehe. Yeah. At some point your biological body will be long dead (because you're a poor fuck) but the reconstructed brain (a bunch of patterns you had acquired over your miserable lifetime) will live happily in the cloud, thinking that he is a real human being & he is still alive.
If you think "omg, I'll never, ever immerse myself, blah-blah", don't be so sure: you're already wasting your time on social networks which are dumb & not even remotely enjoyable.
